Family House Tábor

The brief was to design the renovation of a family house in Tábor for a young family. The main challenge of the existing building was its vertical separation from the plot – the main living level was situated an entire floor above the garden, accessible only by an inconvenient external staircase. Consequently, the interior lacked direct contact with the exterior.

The design concept is based on the idea of bringing the garden to the house. Instead of complex structural modifications to the interior, we opted for raising the terrain in front of the building. This created a new residential terrace that seamlessly connects to the main living space. The project also includes the overall revitalization of the facades and entrance area, as well as a new carport with covered access directly to the vestibule.
