Exhibition for JINR
Location: various
Year: 2020
Phase: study
Collaboration: Jaromír Hárovník, Jan Machonin
In 2020, together with Jaromír Hárovník and Jan Machonin, we designed a traveling exhibition that presents the Czech contribution to international particle physics research conducted at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna. Our aim was to create a welcoming and accessible display that could clearly explain this complex topic to the general public. We chose to organize the information in layers according to complexity, allowing visitors to decide for themselves how deeply they want to explore each topic. Every experiment featured in the exhibition is explained through an interactive exhibit. A key design aspect was easy disassembly and transportability, so the exhibition could be relocated with ease. We conceived the exhibition elements as flexible panels that can change shape and size, adapting to different spatial conditions.
